The 2023 Elite Trades Championship Series competition was held for the second year in a row at the Tampa Convention Center on October 26 – 28, 2023.
The Series involved competitions in 4 trades, divided into six fields: IDEAL® Electrical Championship, Service Titan HVAC National Championship (professional), HVAC (apprentice), U.S> Auto Tech National Championship Driven by Yokohama (professional), Auto Tech (student) and Plumbing National Championship.
The top three finalists of each field shared a prize pool of over $300,000 in cash and sponsor-provided awards. Regional competitions held over several months narrowed the field to those participating in Tampa.
Dagner Espinosa of Tampa, FL, a 2021 graduate of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (RACCA) Tampa Bay 4-year apprenticeship program, placed second in the Service Titan HVAC National Championship (professional) competition. Craig Childress from Peabody, MA, won both the HVAC and Plumbing National Championships.

The IDEAL Electrical Championship will broadcast on December 8, the Service Titan HVAC National Championship on December 15, the U.S. AutoTech National Championship Driven by Yokohama on December 22 and the inaugural Plumbing National Championship on December 29.
