RACCA Tampa: Workshop: Basic First Aid, CPR, AED and Bloodborne Pathogens Training

This training is nationally accredited, and courses are recognized by OSHA, DOT, JCAHO and all other State and Federal Agencies.
Wishart Safety Training will be providing Basic First Aid, CPR, AED and Bloodborne Pathogens Training.

Who should attend: People that needs First Aid, CPR, and AED training that satisfies OSHA-mandated job requirements, workplace, or other regulatory requirements, or if you want to know how to keep your fellow workers and loved ones safe.
First Aid:
Through our first aid certification classes you’ll learn how to respond to specific situations, which will help you care for people in crisis as they wait for medical professionals to arrive.
Topics covered during this course of basic first aid will go over a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to:
• Life Threating Bleeding
• Shock
• Muscle Injuries and Broken Bones
• Anaphylaxis
• Burns
• Choking
• Heat Related Emergencies
• Stroke
CPR / AED Training:
Led by knowledgeable instructors, our CPR/AED and our BLS CPR/AED courses combine lectures with hands-on skills sessions. Perfect for those who learn best in a traditional classroom setting, our in-person classes give you ample time to ask questions and become comfortable with the latest techniques.
Included in this training will be:
• Hands on practice of CPR for an Adult, Child, and Infant.
• Individual mankinis for each student to practice with during class.
• Take home class materials
• AED demonstration and practicing
• After course completion you receive a 2 year certification card.
- Selecting proper equipment as per code R403.7.1.1 cooling equipment capacity (residential and commercial equipment)
- Residential ductwork design
- Understanding static pressure loss
- Equivalent length fittings selection and duct sizing calculations
Blood Pathogens Training:
In this course, you’ll learn how infectious disease spreads, about different types of diseases that spread through contact with blood and body fluids, the chain of infection, how to reduce your risk, and what to do if an exposure incident occurs. • After course completion you receive a 1 year certification card.
