On July 12th, 2025 the Palm Beach Air Conditioning Contractors Association (PBACCA) hosted the High-E-Fishin-Sea Tournament 2.0 at the Palm Beach Yacht Center, and what a day it was! From 8 AM to 2 PM, anglers enjoyed sunshine, friendly rivalry, and even a sold-out boat for our first-ever drift fishing competition aboard the Living on Island Time charter Captained by Collin McCarthy .
Winners included:
Junior Angler: Daniel Martinez (Cool World AC) with a 6.2-lb king mackerel
Male Winner: Joe Torelli (Federated Insurance) with a 7.28-lb bonito
Smallest Fish Champion: Brandon Manderville (Wagner’s Refrigeration and AC) with an undetermined weight blue-striped grunt
We were thrilled to see PBACCA President Steve Castillo, along with volunteers, Jennifer Castricone, Carrier Corporate, and Barbara Yeskey, Microf, board members and directors, jumping in with support for setup, raffles and big smiles to all our participants. After the fishing wrapped, attendees enjoyed a delicious buffet and an incredible raffle featuring high-tech prizes and even an inflatable kayak!
