Position Overview
Skyway Heating and Air is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to assist our owner with a growing number of service calls and installations. The ideal candidate is a trained, motivated self-starter with several years of hands-on experience who can work independently and takes pride in providing honest, dependable service. As a small family- and veteran-owned company, we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to treating customers fairly and delivering “Service with Integrity.”
Preferred Experience / Skills
Several years of hands-on HVAC service and repair experience
Experience diagnosing and repairing residential central A/C and mini-split systems
Knowledge of HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Ability to work independently and assist the owner as needed
Motivated self-starter who takes initiative
Dependable, punctual, honest, and professional
Strong customer-service and communication skills
Commitment to treating customers and their homes with care and respect
Ability to explain system problems and repair options clearly
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to safely perform the physical duties required for HVAC work
