AccuAir, Inc., Bard’s exclusive engineered products distributor in Florida, attended the Florida Educational Facilities Planners Association’s (FEFPA) 2022 Summer Conference held at the Boca Raton Resort in August. The newly renovated facility provided a beautiful environment for the four-day event.
The FEFPA mission is to unite facility planners, builders, architects, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, to encourage the exchange of ideas, resulting in the design and construction of quality, healthy, and sustainable facilities. Bard-AccuAir has been a 27-year Gold Sponsor of the Association, actively participating in and supporting their events and activities.
This year’s summer conference attracted a record attendance, featuring numerous seminars, CEU classes and the well-received exhibit hall with dozens of companies exhibiting and demonstrating their education facilities related products and services.
AccuAir exhibited Bard’s new Q-TEC classroom AC unit in their booth, generating constant traffic. Some of the unit’s features are the quiet “soft start/stop” ECM variable speed motor, available integrated ERV for optimum air quality, proprietary double-isolated floating compressor base, available dehumidification circuit and small unit footprint requiring less than 1% of available floor space in the average classroom.

Wednesday evening’s President’s Dinner and Casino Night provided an opportunity for informal networking and relaxation for the attendees. The event wrapped up on Thursday a scholarship winners and awards ceremony, presentation of the 2022 Architectural Showcase winners and a Florida Department of Education legislative and funding update.
The AccuAir team representing Bard at the conference agreed with Frank that “it was a lot of work and a lot of fun!” They can’t wait to do it again next year.
