Daikin Comfort Technologies hosted dealers and guests to a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL on July 7, 2023. The game showcased teams with the best records in baseball: the Atlanta Braves at #1 and the Rays at #2.
The Rays jumped in front quickly on shortstop Wander Franco’s home run in the first inning. An error by Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe in the fourth inning allowed Matt Olson to get on base. Braves catcher Sean Murphy stepped up and hit a two-run homer to give the Braves the lead. Two hits were all the Braves needed to win the game with a 2 – 1 final score.
The group enjoyed snacks, hot dogs, BBQ and beverages in the Papa John’s Bullpen Box, an exclusive, on-field party area located alongside the Rays bullpen.
“It was disappointing to have the Rays lose tonight but our guests got to see some great pitching”, stated Daikin Comfort Technologies Central Florida Regional Manager Joe Iacovino. “It’s always fun seeing our dealers and their families having a good time. We look forward to doing it again next season.”
