Refrigerant Update September 2023 from The Contractor’s Perspective

Who Should Attend?

Owners, Managers, Executives, Salespeople, Assoc. Members & anyone that might handle or transport Refrigerant in the future.

This class will cover topics such as:

• The disposable “ban” is “on” for Jan 2025… a lawsuit is pending (Worthington Corp).
• The EPA is eager to announce an “early phase-out” of R-410a.
• R-290 has another name… do you know what it is? Propane
• Moving forward with R-290 (A3), you will need to calculate the volume of the space, the quantity of charge… and “mitigation strategies”… leaks.
• On almost ALL insurance questionnaires for renewal is a simple question:
  “Do you install or service equipment with flammable refrigerants?”
• How do you transport propane in a truck?
• How much propane can you transport in a truck?

This class will be presented by BoB Cochell of Gulf Coast Air Systems.
