Gemaire South Florida Rheem dealers attended a business meeting at the Fire Fighters Memorial Building in Doral, Florida on April 17, 2019. The day-long event provided information on business-building resources available from Gemaire and Gemaire’s business partners.
Rheem Business Development Manager John Grindle kicked off the meeting, presenting the 2019 Rheem contractor and consumer programs and an update on their equipment platform.
Other topics included tools to speed up productivity, building a winning digital presence, how to boost sales with financing and soliciting online reviews. Alan Cape of the Rheem water heating division discussed the benefits of incorporating their products into HVAC businesses portfolios.
Author and business coach Jim Ryerson of Sales Octane discussed making a great first impression and improving upselling skills utilizing role playing to illustrate his points.
The highlight of the meeting was Danny Puig of Oscar AC being presented the Rheem 2018 Top High Efficiency Dealer and 2018 1st Place RNC Dealer Awards.
A 2-hour mini trade show featuring appetizers and refreshments concluded the day’s activities. Contractors also had the opportunity to get an up-close look at the Joe Gibbs Rheem-sponsored NASCAR race car and try their skills at driving several high-end virtual reality race simulators.
