NFACCA Celebrates the Holidays at Annual Christmas Gala

The North Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Association (NFACCA) rang in the holiday season with their Annual Christmas Gala on December 7, 2025. The event was held at the elegant Deercreek Country Club in Jacksonville, FL, where more than 60 guests gathered for an evening filled with festive cheer, delicious food, live entertainment, and exciting raffles. The talented Cloud 9 band provided lively music, ensuring a memorable night for all attendees.

NFACCA Executive Director Jenn Beaudry warmly welcomed the guests and extended heartfelt thanks to the event’s sponsors. She stated, “To our incredible sponsors—Nimnicht Chevrolet, Advanced Work Vans, Weather Engineers, Johnstone Supply The Ware Group, Trane, and Enterprise Fleet Management—thank you for your generous support and partnership. Your contributions played a significant role in being able to host this special evening.”

The gala featured a guest appearance by Erika Mattis, Executive Director of the statewide Florida Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRACCA). Ms. Mattis highlighted several key achievements made possible through the collaborative efforts of FRACCA member contractors and the Association’s lobbyist, Edward Briggs of RSA Consulting Group. She specifically mentioned the successful passage of HB 481, Building Construction, Regulations, and System Warranties, which came into effect on July 1, 2024. This legislation expanded the scope of work for HVAC contractors to include line-side repairs or replacements of wiring and disconnect switches and simplified HVAC system warranties and registrations.

Looking ahead, Ms. Mattis outlined FRACCA’s proposed priorities for the upcoming year, including streamlining apprenticeship funding, combating unlicensed contracting and expanding the scope of work for air conditioning contractors to include installing and replacing package pool heaters.

NFACCA President Lisa Lynch concluded the formal portion of the evening by acknowledging the attendees’ generosity and support for the organization’s charitable initiatives. “To all of our attendees, thank you for joining us to celebrate the holiday season and for your dedication to supporting Air Angels, raising $1,160 tonight. Together, we have raised vital funds to continue their mission of providing assistance to those in need within our community. We are truly grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing network of supporters, and we look forward to making an even greater impact together in the future,” said Ms. Lynch.
