The Oldach USA-sponsored Race Factory team delivered one of its strongest performances to date at the 2026 Central Florida Region SCCA Daytona Classic at Daytona International Speedway, earning two class victories with drivers Sergio Sanjenis and José Bonilla behind the wheel of the team’s No. 156 2002 BMW 330i.

The four-day event brought together amateur road racers from across the Southeast to compete on Daytona’s legendary 3.54-mile road course in sprint and endurance competition.
The weekend began with an outstanding performance in the 30-minute Feature Race, where Sanjenis drove the BMW to a first-place finish in the T3 class and an impressive second-place overall finish against a highly competitive field.
The momentum continued in the 90-minute Enduro as Sanjenis and Bonilla overcame adversity after an early-race incident dropped the team to 26th position overall. Through consistent driving, strategic pit work and a determined charge through the field, the duo fought back to capture first place in class while climbing to 15th overall by the checkered flag.

“This was a true team effort,” said Sanjenis. “The crew gave us a great car all weekend, and José and I stayed focused after the early setback. To recover from the back of the field and finish first in class is incredibly rewarding.”
The Daytona results add another chapter to Race Factory’s growing list of accomplishments. Over the past several seasons, the team has become a consistent front-runner in SCCA competition, earning multiple class victories and podium finishes at both Daytona International Speedway and Sebring International Raceway. Previous highlights include sweeping the STU class during the 2021 SCCA Cabin Fever weekend at Sebring with victories in both endurance and sprint competition, podium finishes at the 2023 Daytona Classic, and another strong showing at Sebring in 2025.

Race Factory’s success has made the program an effective ambassador for Oldach USA, demonstrating the same commitment to preparation, teamwork and performance that the company brings to the HVAC industry. The distinctive BMW, carrying the colors of Oldach USA, Ducane, Real Street, FULCRO Insurance and Race Factory, has become a familiar sight at SCCA events throughout Florida and the Southeast.
With another successful Daytona Classic in the books, the team now looks ahead to the remainder of the 2026 racing season, aiming to build on its growing reputation as one of the region’s premier amateur road racing programs.
