The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (RACCA) Tampa Bay area installed their 2024 officers and board of directors during their annual banquet, held this year at the Rusty Pelican Restaurant in Tampa on February 8, 2024.
The evening began with a cocktail hour reception filled with conversation as the guests networked and shared accounts of last year’s travels and business ventures.
Outgoing President Garrett Lingerfelt presented a state of the association message, noting that the apprenticeship program is continuing to rebound from the tough COVID years and highlighting some of the educational and social events that took place during 2023.
The 2024 Officers are President Brendan Fuller of French’s Air Conditioning, Vice President Bryan Wade of Griffin Service Corporation, Secretary/Treasurer Renee Pagan of Pelican Aire Commercial Service Inc., Secretary/Treasurer and outgoing President Garrett Lingerfelt.
2024 Directors are Paul Keller of Service-Tech Corporation, Robert Wasilewski of Anytime Air, Jason Hofmann and Shanna Pettys of Gulf Coast Air Systems and Associate Director Paula DeSantis-Tarris of Trane Supply.
The following companies and individuals were recognized for their contributions to the association:
Dan Moody of Target Sales received the 2023 RACCA President’s Award of Excellence for an Associate Member.
Bob Cochell of Gulf Coast Air Systems received the 2023 RACCA President’s Award of Excellence for a Contractor Member.
Renee Pagan of Pelican Aire Mechanical Service Inc. received the 2023 RACCA President’s Award of Excellence for an Individual.
Paul Keller of Service-Tech Corporation received the 2023 RACCA Legacy Award for Years of Service to RACCA and the Industry.
Jerry Barnum of Victor Distributing was recognized as recipient of the 2023 RACCA C J Dillard Award for an Individual for outstanding service to RACCA and the Industry.
Incoming President Brendan Fuller concluded the evening with his acceptance speech, vowing to build on the successes of his predecessors.
