Rheem® Celebrates a Century of Legacy with Remarkable Milestones and Inspiring Global Events

Rheem MEA 1920s party

Rheem®, a global leader in heating, cooling and water heating solutions, recently marked its 100th anniversary with events held around the world. With operations spanning more than 50 brands and facilities across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, the company’s centennial was honored with diverse, locally inspired events that paid tribute to its people and its history.

These global gatherings are the latest highlights of Rheem’s centennial year. The company began 2025 by unveiling its refreshed brand, “Engineered for Life,” to reflect Rheem’s century-long legacy of delivering reliable, resilient, and innovative products built for everyday life. The milestone year also featured a series of marquee moments, including the debut of cutting-edge solutions at AHR Expo and The International Builders’ Show®. Rheem’s commitment to investing in the industry was reinforced at the 2025 Pro Partner International Conference, which broke attendance records as thousands of global partners aligned under the theme, “Next Starts Now.” On Earth Day,

Rheem also released its sixth annual Sustainability Progress Report, announcing several of its goals are ahead of schedule including a line of products that met a 50% greenhouse gas reduction[1] and that all manufacturing sites included in the initial program launch in 2019 had achieved Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWTL) status[2]. In late June, the company partnered with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity® to sponsor a home build and dedication, another meaningful way to honor its 100-year journey in the hometown of its global headquarters.

“These celebrations represent a testament to Rheem’s enduring values, strong culture, and the dedicated global teams, encompassing nearly 15,000 employees worldwide, who drive continued success,” said Dipa Homer, executive vice president, Global Human Resources and Communications, Rheem. “We are incredibly proud of our legacy and the people who have shaped Rheem’s journey over the past century.”

Rheem Australia commissioned a sculpture made from Rheem parts to a local artist

Teams across continents marked Rheem’s centennial with events that reflected the company’s core values of innovation, collaboration and the pursuit of excellence. At the Fort Smith, Arkansas, facility, a large mural was unveiled to honor Rheem’s legacy and the people who helped build it.

Globally, employees celebrated in ways that resonated with local cultures while reinforcing a shared commitment to progress. From North America to Southeast Asia, activities ranged from watch parties showcasing custom motivational videos by best-selling authors to community-focused initiatives. In Australia, the local team commissioned a digital artwork piece from individually photographed Rheem parts to a local artist embracing the art and science of manufacturing. Events highlighted creativity, recognized employee contributions and connected past achievements to future possibilities.

Rheem will continue its centennial celebration throughout 2025. Rheem associates around the world will contribute to a custom-built time capsule that will serve to capture and celebrate the current state of the company, including its family of brands and business units—at this momentous time in its history. The capsule will be sealed in December of 2025 and displayed at Rheem’s Corporate Headquarters for the next 25 years, to be opened in 2050.
