ServiceTitan Announces Winners of the 2024 HVAC Championship Competition

The professional & apprenticeship finalists celebrate a memorable competition

The 2024 Service Titan HVAC National Championship, part of the ServiceTitan Elite Trades Championship Series, took place Thursday, September 12 at the Palm Beach Convention Center, West Palm Beach, FL.

The following quote is a message from ServiceTitan announcing the winners of the 2024 HVAC Championship Competition:

“For the first time in ServiceTitan HVAC National Championship history, we have a repeat champion!

Craig Childress captured his second straight HVAC title today with a thrilling, down-to-the-wire win over last year’s apprentice champion, Patrick Boldt. Curtis Harrington finished third in the professional division.

 

On the apprentice side, Dustin Hawkins is our new HVAC national champion, with Cameron Raab taking second place and Billy Dahmen finishing third.”

The $100,000 total purse was awarded as follows.

Professionals: 1st Place $40,000, 2nd Place 15,000 and 3rd Place $10,000.
Apprentices: 1st Place $20,000, 2nd Place $10,000 and 3rd Place $5,000.

Last year’s second place finisher Dagner Espinoza of Tampa, Florida did not finish in the money.

Nearly 8,000 competitors entered the first qualifying round, an online quiz presented by Trane and American Standard with questions developed by Nate. The 38 pros and 38 Apprentice techs with the highest quiz scores then moved on to the second round, a hands-on skills challenge presented by Johnstone Supply.

CBS Sports will be broadcasting coverage of the ServiceTitan Elite Trades Championship Series at a date to be announced.
