Trane held the 2022 South Florida Dealer Appreciation Golf Tournament on October 6, 2022 at the newly renovated Madison Green Country Club in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Seventy-three golfers “paid” at least ten cans of non-perishable food items each to participate with the donations to be distributed to local south Florida food banks.
The weather was perfect for the 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and the temperature remained reasonable for the entire tournament. An awards banquet concluded the day with the following winners and team scores being announced, separated into 3 flights:
Flight 1. 1st place: Sam Ith, Dennis Kuznetz, Ryan Sittler and Craig Turner; 2nd place: Ed Sasso, Anthony Kiser, Danny Saez and Dave Welch; 3rd Place: Scott Campfield, Fred Clevenger, Adam Townsend and Kevin Wentz.
Flight 2. 1st place: Ed Sasso, Anthony Kiser, Danny Saez and Dave Welch; 2nd place: Junior Alvarez, Tim Poulos, Al Randal and Steve Sanders; 3rd place: Dave Hutchison, Rich Petrocine and James Pickard.
Flight 3. 1st place: Jason Drewniak, William Leonard and Stephen Mogle; 2nd place: John Barrios, William Flowers, Jean Jenty and Sean Pinna; 3rd place: Maikel Bover, Travis DePanicis, Anthony Floril and Anthony Sanchez.
Ryan Sittler won the Longest Drive contest, sponsored by Cool Air Products; Fred Clevenger won the Honeywell Home Closest to the Pin contest and Jake Derosa won the Dust Free sponsored Putting Contest in a playoff.
Trane Regional General Manager for Florida Lyndon Cook ended the event by thanking the dealers and guests for attending and supporting the food drive. “I hope everyone had a great time as it sure looked like everyone I saw was enjoying themselves. I also want to thank our sponsors for donating their time and other support and the terrific Trane employees that put this whole thing together. We look forward to doing it again next year!”
