The Big Bend Air Conditioning Contractors Association (BBACCA) Has become the ninth local association to join the statewide Florida Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRACCA). The move was announced at the BBACCA’s June monthly meeting. The BBACCA geographically includes Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, Franklin and Gadsden Counties.
FRACCA Executive Director and several FRACCA representatives were in attendance, welcoming the BBACCA members and discussing the impact joining FRACCA had on their own businesses and local associations. An immediate benefit was FRACCA’s help setting up an apprenticeship program for BBACCA.
FRACCA lobbyist Anna “Cam” Fentriss was the guest speaker, providing an update on all the Legislative Issues from the 2019 Session.
The current BBACCA officers are President Patrick Barineau of Barineau Heating and AC, Vice President Carré Welsh of Watts Cooling, Heating & Plumbing and Secretary/Treasurer Amanda Godwin of Donny’s Heating & Air.
