IRWIN Unveils Next Generation Bi-Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades

IRWIN®, a leading manufacturer of innovative hand tools and power tool accessories, announces the launch of its next generation Bi-Metal Reciprocating Saw Blade range that is MADE STRONGER. LASTS LONGER.™* Proudly made in the USA with global materials, these blades are crafted for optimal efficiency with precision set teeth that enable fast, smooth cuts. In addition, these saw blades feature a high-speed steel cutting edge that extends cutting life, while a spring steel backing edge helps to prevent breaking.

The new saw blades are designed for cutting the most common types of materials users encounter such as wood, metal, and plastic, with ease. The wood demolition blades boast a tall and thick blade profile that provides durability in tough demolition and fire and rescue applications. Demolition blades are available in 6”, 9” and 12” lengths and in 6 and 10 TPI.

“Users seek out blades that give them more cuts and stand up to the challenges that they put them through,” said Brian Morrison, Group Product Manager. “Through optimizing toothforms for efficient cutting as well as using bi-metal material, IRWIN® delivers blades that can stand up to the rigors of the job.”

IRWIN® Reciprocating Saw Blades are available in the following profiles in a variety of pack sizes.
