Goodman Distribution closed out their Tampa Bay Rays baseball events for the year on August 30, 2019, treating Bay area dealers and guests to a game at Tropicana Field between the Rays and the Cleveland Indians.
The group joined over 15,000 cheering fans watching the teams battle in a closely contested race for a wild card birth in the post-season. The game was a pitcher’s duel until the bottom of the seventh inning when the Rays scored on a RBI single by Avisail Garcia and a three-run homer from Jesus Aguilar. The Rays bullpen kept the Indians from scoring and the final was Rays 4, Indians 0.
The Goodman guests feasted on snacks, hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages in the Papa John’s Bullpen Box, an exclusive, on-field party area located alongside the Rays bullpen.
Goodman Central Florida Regional Manager Joe Iacovino praised the turnout, stating “It’s nice to see so many of our friends and their families having a great time tonight. I thank them for joining us and we look forward to doing it again next year.”
