Lennox Expands Home Comfort Portfolio with Launch of Residential Water Heaters

Lennox has announced beginning March 16, dealers across the U.S. and Canada will be able to place orders for their newly launched line of water heaters, marking a major expansion of the company’s whole home comfort ecosystem.

By combining Lennox’s trusted residential dealer network with Ariston Group’s global leadership in water heating technology, the partnership delivers HVAC and plumbing professionals a powerful new offering: a reliable, comprehensive range of connected water heating solutions backed by the service, availability, and brand confidence dealers expect from Lennox.

“Our expansion into water heating is a natural evolution of Lennox’s commitment to delivering total home comfort,” said Sarah Martin, EVP & President of Lennox Home Comfort Solutions. “Dealers and homeowners have been asking for a complete comfort offering from Lennox, and we’re proud to introduce solutions built on trusted innovation, high efficiency, and the exceptional service Lennox is known for.”

The new Lennox water heater lineup includes gas storage, heat pump, electric storage, and point‑of‑use models, each designed for performance, durability, and ease of installation.

Gas Storage Water Heaters

Lennox gas storage water heaters are built for high‑demand applications, offering reliable performance and efficient operation across capacities ranging from 30 to 75 gallons. Each unit features a PermaClad™ glass-lined, heavy‑gauge steel tank designed for robust corrosion protection, supported by an aluminum or magnesium anode rod and the SediMotion™ system to reduce sediment buildup. Engineered for energy‑efficient performance, these models help lower utility costs, while the Lennox Lock™ System enhances flammability protection for added safety on the job.

Heat Pump Water Heaters

Designed for outstanding efficiency, Lennox heat pump water heaters can reduce energy consumption by up to 75% compared to traditional electric models, with capacities from 40 to 80 gallons and efficiencies reaching up to 4.01 UEF. The PermaClad™ tank includes dual cathodic protection, both powered and magnesium anodes, to extend product life, supported by FillSafe Protection™ to prevent damage if the tank is improperly filled. Operating as quietly as 45 dB, these units also offer advanced smart features, including the I‑Memory Algorithm, scheduling capabilities, and connectivity to the Lennox Home platform for integrated system management alongside compatible Lennox thermostats.

Electric Storage Water Heaters

Lennox electric storage water heaters provide a dependable, cost-effective solution for residential applications, available in 30‑ to 80‑gallon capacities. They feature a PermaClad™ glass‑lined steel tank with a magnesium anode rod for corrosion resistance, along with the SediMotion™ system to help limit sediment buildup. Built with efficiency in mind, these models deliver reliable performance while helping professionals offer homeowners improved energy savings.

Point‑of‑Use Water Heaters

Ideal for installations in garages, remote bathrooms, additions, or other areas where hot water is needed quickly, Lennox point‑of‑use water heaters offer a compact solution in capacities ranging from 2.5 to 20 gallons* and are engineered for both convenience and durability. Each unit features PermaClad™ corrosion protection, the SediMotion™ system to manage sediment, and 1‑inch foam insulation to support energy efficiency. A built‑in thermostat and manual cutoff enhance safety and dependability, making them a versatile option for targeted applications. *20‑gallon model not available in Canada.
