Daikin Comfort Technologies Hosts Dealers at Tampa Bay Rays Baseball Game

Daikin Comfort Technologies’ Central Florida Region recently treated area dealers and their families to an afternoon of baseball, food and fellowship as the Tampa Bay Rays hosted the Chicago White Sox on August 1, 2026.

Approximately 65 contractors, employees and family members joined Daikin Comfort Technologies representatives for the game at Tropicana Field. Guests enjoyed the action from the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa 162 Landing party area, along with a menu featuring hot dogs, chicken tenders, BBQ pork, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, popcorn, snacks and beverages.

Those attending were also treated to an outstanding pitching performance by Rays starter Drew Rasmussen. The right-hander held Chicago scoreless over six innings, allowing just four hits and one walk while striking out 10. Rasmussen earned his 10th win of the season as Tampa Bay shut out the White Sox, 1-0. The Rays bullpen continued the shutout over the final three innings, with Bryan Baker closing out the ninth for his 31st save.

The game’s only run came in the fifth inning. Jonny DeLuca reached base and scored when Nick Fortes delivered an RBI single, providing all the offense Rasmussen and the Rays bullpen would need. Both teams finished with five hits in the tightly contested game.

For Daikin, the outing provided more than an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of Major League Baseball. It also gave company representatives an opportunity to spend time with their dealers away from the everyday demands of business and get to know their families.
