Boynton Beach Economic Electric Motors to Host Nidec Motor Lunch and Learn

The Economic Electric Motors branch located at 4020 Thor Drive, Boynton Beach, FL 33426 will be hosting a Nidec motor training on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. The class will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will be presented by Nidec Business Development and Training Manager Steve Masters.

Topics to be covered are:

  • ECM Motors: Earns 1 hour NATE credit: ECM motor technologies; troubleshooting electronic modules; RESCUE® SELECT™ after-market X13 programmable motor and RESCUE EcoTech® PSC to EC upgrade motor overviews.
  • MotorPro FHP Training Program: Earns 1 ½ hours NATE credits: Electric motor basics and applications; induction motor types and parts; motor nameplates, identifying the unknown motor.
  • IHP Motors: Understanding IHP nameplate terminology including service factor, voltage, frame size and enclosures.
    Review: Motors used in HVAC, effects of inverter drives on motors.
