Daikin Comfort Technologies celebrated the Grand Opening of their Port St. Lucie Branch with an open house on August 5, 2022.
Located at 404 NW Enterprise Drive, Port St Lucie, FL 34986, the new facility replaces their Ft. Pierce branch and is a huge improvement geographically, convenient to Florida’s turnpike and I-95. It more than doubles the old location’s footprint from 19,000 square feet to 40,000 square feet, providing plenty of space for inventorying Daikin and Goodman residential, ductless and light commercial equipment, service and installation parts and supplies and tools. A state-of-the-art training room will feature two working units and top-notch audio/visual capabilities. Three delivery trucks are available to service contractors throughout the Sebastian/Jupiter/Okeechobee market area.
The Port St. Lucie branch is the first new company owned location in Florida bearing the Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. name, formerly known as Goodman Distribution, Inc. Daikin North America unified its core Daikin, Goodman and Amana HVAC brands under the new top level corporate name and structure, Daikin Comfort Technologies, on April 1, 2022. “Aligning our structure into a single business unit allows for collaboration, innovation, and agility internally, and very importantly, meets the needs of our customers,” Takayuki “Taka” Inoue, chief sales and marketing officer for Daikin, stated in the name change and organizational realignment announcement.
Contractors were given tours of the facility during the open house and treated to goodie bags, a prize raffle drawing and a lunch of steak and chicken sandwiches and hamburgers catered by the Good Eats SeeFood Food Truck. Andres Ponce of Target Sales and Scott Behanna of Behanna – McLaughlin and Associates were on hand demonstrating the products their companies represent and answering questions from the visitors.
