Daikin Comfort Technologies dealers and guests were treated to a Tampa Bay Rays versus New York Yankees baseball game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL on May 5, 2023.
The guests watched from the Papa John’s Bullpen Box, an exclusive, on-field party area located alongside the Rays bullpen, as the Rays held on to beat the Yankees 5 – 4 in the first meeting this season between the American League East rivals. The Rays dominated the game early, leading 4 – 0 going into the top of the 6th inning. The Yankees tied the game only to have Rays shortstop Wander Franco hit an RBI double in the seventh that scored Yandy Diaz with the game-winning run. Yankees center fielder Jake Bauers had the ball go off his glove and the initial out call at the plate on Yandy Diaz was overturned upon review.
“These events are really a hit with our dealers and we enjoy spending the time with them,” stated Daikin Comfort Technologies Central Florida Regional Manager Joe Iacovino. “We’re looking forward to hosting another one later this year.”
