Over fifty Daikin Comfort Technologies representatives, dealers and guests attended the Tampa Bay Rays versus San Francisco Giants baseball game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL on April 12, 2024.

The party, which featured hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken wings, snacks, desserts and beverages, was hosted in the Papa John’s Bullpen Box, an exclusive, on-field party area located alongside the Rays bullpen.
The Rays took an early lead when San Francisco starting pitcher Keaton Winn walked Yandy Diaz on a 3-2 count with the bases loaded and two outs. The Giants answered in the top of the third on a bizarre run scored by center fielder Jung Hoo Lee who singled, stole second base and went to third on a throwing error by Rays catcher Ben Rortverdt. Jung Hoo then scored on a wild pitch. The Rays retook the lead in the bottom of the third inning on the game-winning RBI double by second baseman Amed Rosario, scoring Harold Ramirez.
Tampa Bay’s pitcher Jacob Waguespack made his first start since September of 2019, allowing one run on four hits in four innings. This has been an unusual year for the Ray’s pitching staff, with the bullpen sporting an American League worst 6.43 ERA. Five of Tampa’s starting pitchers are on the injured list.

“Our dealers really enjoy these outings, which give us an opportunity to relax and spend some personal time with them before the start of our busy summer season,” stated Daikin Comfort Technologies Central Florida Regional Manager Joe Iacovino. “We’re already scheduling another game later in the year.”
