Goodman Distribution hosted a group of their dealers to a baseball game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg FL where they watched the hometown Rays beat the Houston Astros 4 – 2 on March 29th, 2019.
Ex-Astro Charlie Morton was on the mound making his Rays debut, allowing 2 runs in the top of the 3rd inning. The Rays answered back in the bottom of the frame to take the lead 3 – 2. Yandy Diaz hit a line drive home run to center field for the Rays in the 6th providing an unnecessary insurance run.
The fans enjoyed the game and feasted on the snacks, buffet and beverages in the Papa John’s Bullpen Box, an exclusive, on-field party area located alongside the Rays bullpen.
“We always have a great turnout for these events,” stated Goodman Area Sales Manager Mickey Peters. “We enjoy socializing with our dealers and spending time with their families.”
