Looking to the Future

As Florida’s cooling season gets into full swing, our industry has been anything but quiet.

Over the past several weeks, apprenticeship graduation ceremonies across the state have celebrated the next generation of HVACR professionals entering the workforce. Congratulations to the graduates and to the contractors, instructors, associations, and distributors whose commitment to training is helping strengthen our industry for years to come.

Distributors have also been busy hosting open houses, counter days, and customer appreciation events. These gatherings provide valuable opportunities to learn about new products, strengthen supplier relationships, and network with fellow professionals. If you receive an invitation to one of these events, I encourage you to attend.

The conclusion of Florida’s 2025-2026 Legislative Session is another reminder that our industry extends well beyond the jobsite. Legislative and regulatory decisions affect every HVACR business, and ACprosite will continue monitoring the issues that matter most to Florida contractors and distributors.

I’m excited to share that the ACprosite YouTube Channel is now live. Produced in collaboration with Million Dollar HVAC, it expands our coverage through interviews, event highlights, product spotlights, and short videos featuring the people and businesses shaping Florida’s HVACR industry. I hope you’ll subscribe and follow along as we continue adding new content.

I’d also like to encourage both contractors and distributors to take advantage of the ACprosite Workforce Hub. Finding qualified employees remains one of our industry’s biggest challenges, and this Florida-focused resource was created specifically to connect employers with HVACR job seekers. Whether you’re hiring technicians, installers, office staff, warehouse personnel, drivers, counter sales associates, or managers, I encourage you to post your openings and help make the Workforce Hub the industry’s preferred recruiting destination.

Finally, keep watching ACprosite.com. In the coming weeks we’ll be introducing a refreshed look along with new tools and resources designed to help Florida contractors and distributors grow their businesses, stay informed, and remain connected with our industry’s rapidly changing landscape. The best is yet to come.

Thank you for your continued support and have a safe and successful summer season.

Warm regards,
Peter Montana, Managing Director, ACprosite
