MACCA Education Series: Aluminum Coil Repair Training Class a Success Contributed by MACCA

The Manasota Air Conditioning Contractors Association (MACCA) Apprentice Program organized a successful Aluminum Coil Repair training class as part of its Education Series on Monday, October 23rd, 2023. The class took place at Suncoast Technical College in Sarasota, FL and was open to both apprentice students and MACCA members.

During the event, participants received a comprehensive technical overview and engaged in hands-on training focused on various aspects such as brazing with nitrogen, maintaining system cleanliness, avoiding contaminants, and working with aluminum. This valuable learning experience was made possible thanks to the generous contributions of Tropic Supply, Inc., in collaboration with Uniweld.

The HVAC/R Apprentice program offered by MACCA provides individuals with the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills for residential HVAC/R installation and service trades while gaining full-time paid employment. This program aims to equip students with the knowledge and abilities required to succeed as HVAC/R technicians.

MACCA expresses its gratitude to Tropic Supply, Inc., and Uniweld for their dedication and commitment to empowering students and industry professionals. The Aluminum Coil Repair training class was highly successful and proved to be a valuable learning opportunity for all who participated.
