Matt Boné has joined Mainstream Engineering as regional sales manager for their QwikProducts line of heating, ventilation and air conditioning products. Originally from New York City, Matt has lived in Florida for over 25 years and began his career in the HVACR industry at Central AC & Refrigeration Supply in Melbourne, FL.
“I began working in the warehouse, and over the ensuing 15 years, was promoted to warehouse manager, inside sales, and eventually branch manager of their Vero Beach branch,” Matt stated. “In my current position with Mainstream, I am responsible for educating, training, and providing customer service to HVAC/R wholesalers and contractors in the state of Florida. Currently, most of that training time is spent on our newest product, QwikPure Triple Guard which is a 3-step whole home purification system that uses UV-C light, Photocatalytic Oxidation and a Activated Carbon/Potassium Permanganate (AC/PP) Purifier.”
Matt is excited about working at Mainstream Engineering and the fact that the company conducts its own research and development and manufacturing. “We are continually striving to develop cutting edge QwikProducts for the HVACR industry, increasing efficiency and productivity through technology. The industry is constantly changing, with new refrigerants, regulations, and procedures, and Mainstream Engineering is committed to keeping technicians ahead of the curve with new and improved technologies. By maintaining a open line of communication with our target market and manufacturing all of our own products here in Rockledge, we are able to quickly adjust to any changes in the market.”
“I have been working under the guidance of Mike Lonis, Director of Sales and Marketing, and have been traveling throughout Florida as much as possible,” Matt concluded. “Unfortunately, COVID restrictions have slowed the process, but things are beginning to return to normal. I plan on expanding my visits in the state and eventually throughout the Southeast region of the country and beyond.’
