North Florida Trane dealers gathered for their annual golf tournament and food drive at the Mission Inn in Howie in the Hills, FL, on October 26, 2023. Participants donated several hundred pounds of food and staples to be distributed among local charities.
Thiry-six teams teed off at noon on a beautiful day for golf, enjoying the weather and the friendly competition, which lasted into the early evening. A buffet of flank steak, chicken and mahi, along with salad and side dishes, preceded the recognition of winners and awarding of prizes.
Trane Florida Regional General Manager Lyndon Cook kicked off the awards presentation by thanking everyone for participating. “Today was a day of celebrating you and we thank you for your support and the opportunity to partner with you in your businesses. I hope everyone had a good time!”
Prizes were awarded for the Closest to the Pin, the Longest Drive and first, second and third place team scores.

Longest Drive, James Gelp
3rd Place team, with a score of 61, McGowan’s Air Conditioning: Matt Wassner, Dan Jeffs (Trane Supply), Doug Regula and Jonah Isner.
2nd Place team, also scoring 61, Air Max Heating and Air Conditioning: Sean Suhar, Jason Suhar, Paul Suhar & Mike Suhar.
Placing 1st with a score of 58 was the M & S team: Mike Cipris, John Mitchell, Trey McKinney & John Gelp.
