The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (RACCA) of Tampa Bay has announced the appointment of Missy Cook of CookLynn LLC as Executive Director to manage their day-to-day affairs, accounting, records-keeping and event planning. She is joined by Administrative Assistant Darla Bismarck. Former RACCA Executive Director Keane Bismarck has been retained as a consultant by CookLynn. Keane is currently RACCA Apprenticeship Program Administrator.
Missy, Darla and Keane were introduced to RACCA members at a meeting held December 12th, 2019 at Hotel Alba in Tampa.
The following is the introductory statement Missy sent to RACCA members:
“As RACCA’s new Executive Director, I wanted to reach out to introduce myself and let you know about some exciting changes coming in 2020. My name is Missy Cook and I am honored to have been appointed as the new Executive Director for RACCA. I feel I am uniquely positioned to bring some important and energizing changes to RACCA and the member benefits we offer. I have spent the last 18 years in web development and project management, and over the last 5 years working hard as an owner of my own company. As a business owner I understand the challenges and concerns you are facing in running a successful company with today’s rapidly changing business environments and platforms. I plan to use those skills to modernize our current programs at meetings, on the website and various online offerings to better support your own efforts. I am also a former employee of RACCA and the daughter of the former 28-year Executive Director Keane Bismarck, who I have retained as a consultant. As I institute new and modernized programs for the Association, I will also work to ensure we stay true to our roots and keep what has always made RACCA a unique association in our state. I have the experience and passion specific to RACCA to bring the Association to a new and exciting level.”
