The North Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Association (NFACCA) hosted its annual Clay Shoot on March 3, 2026, at the Jacksonville Gun Club, drawing strong participation from contractors, distributors, and industry partners across Northeast Florida.
According to NFACCA Executive Director Jennifer Beaudry, the 2026 event set a new benchmark for the association. “This year was our biggest year to date! We had a total of 23 teams registered,” she said.
The Clay Shoot was supported by a wide range of sponsors, led by Title Sponsor Shearer Supply. Additional key sponsors included Johnstone Supply (Breakfast), Nimnicht Chevrolet Business Elite (Lunch), North East Florida Heating & Air (Cart), Air Solutions Heating & Cooling, Inc (Awards), Jacksonville Winlectric Company HVAC Division (Takeaway Gift), Stryker Custom Designs (Event Swag), and Advanced Work Vans (Vehicle Showcase). Station sponsors included Trane, RTO National, Community First Credit Union, Tropic Supply, and Trusted Home Service Partners.
Participants were treated to breakfast catered by Chick-fil-A and a lunchtime spread from Bono’s Pit Bar-B-Q, adding to the event’s welcoming and social atmosphere.
On the competitive side, Jimmy Jones and his team from Tropic Air continued their dominant run, taking home first place honors for the fourth consecutive year.
