The Samsung Mobile Training Center visited ten of Tropic Supply’s Resource Centers in December of last year and January 2024. The visits coincided with basic and advanced training sessions at most of the locations.
Seats were limited to 20 slots for the Installation and Basic Service of Samsung residential and light commercial product classes. Completers of the basic class were eligible to attend the following day’s Advanced Service classes.
The Advanced course reviewed the proper operation of Samsung single-zone and multi-zone heat pump systems. Attendees learned how to troubleshoot error codes and perform an accurate diagnosis of each system. Indoor and outdoor unit disassembly procedures were reviewed, and the contractors enjoyed hands-on activities working on live Samsung equipment.
One of the highlights was the introduction of the new 3.0i mini splits utilizing Samsung’s new laser sensor connected to their SmartThings communicating network to monitor and control air quality and purification.
The Samsung Mobile Training Center was onsite to provide a hands-on introduction to the Samsung product line at several Resource Centers that didn’t host the basic and advanced training opportunities.
