On Wednesday, May 7, professionals from across industries gathered at the EVEN Hotel Sarasota-Lakewood Ranch for an eye-opening event on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be used by anyone—not just tech experts—to simplify work, boost creativity, and increase efficiency.
Hosted by the Manasota Air Conditioning Contractors Association (MACCA), the event, titled “AI for Everyone,” featured a dynamic presentation by Marcus McGehee, Founder of The AI Consulting Lab. McGehee led attendees through real-world examples of how tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot can help with communication, time management, and problem-solving in everyday business operations.
Designed for all experience levels, the session emphasized that AI is a practical tool that professionals in any role or industry can begin using right away. From HVAC contractors and administrators to marketing professionals and small business owners, participants gained valuable insight into how AI is reshaping the modern workplace.
In addition to the live demonstration, McGehee made a Custom GPT Workbook available for those interested in diving deeper into personalized AI workflows and prompt creation.
