On June 10, 2025, the Donna J. Beasley Tri-County Apprenticeship Academy (TCAA) teamed up with HVAC manufacturer representative Quantum Cooling to host a special event titled “Apprenticeship in Action” at the TCAA campus in Fort Myers, Florida.
Held at 13830 Jetport Commerce Parkway, Suite 5, the event welcomed contractors, vendors, suppliers, and program alumni for an evening focused on workforce development and apprenticeship training. Despite stormy weather and the demands of peak HVAC season, the event saw strong participation and collaboration among attendees.
Running from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., the event highlighted the benefits of apprenticeship training and offered guests a first look at TCAA’s new lab space, which is currently under development. Attendees had the opportunity to provide input on additional equipment needs for the lab, sparking new partnerships to help bring the facility to completion.
“TCAA is grateful to all who attended,” said Christine Sardina, Executive Director of TCAA. “A special thanks goes to Quantum Cooling for partnering with us to provide dinner for our guests, and to Marc Mellon of Majestic Mechanical for contributing to our lab showcase and generously donating two new VFD drives, a Sporlan stepper valve, and an HOA box with controls.”
With continued contractor input and industry support, TCAA is poised to become a premier provider of apprenticeship training, supporting both the skilled trades workforce and employers throughout Southwest Florida.
