Tropic Supply recently hosted a series of combined Yellow Jacket and Mars Motors Demo Days at branch locations throughout Florida. Representatives Ryan Reynolds and Don Griscom from EV Dunbar led the hands-on sessions, giving HVAC technicians and contractors the opportunity to explore the latest product innovations firsthand.
Mars Motors Demonstration
Ryan and Don showcased the Mars Azure motor line, featuring five models, two constant-torque (X13) motors, two variable-speed/X13 replacement motors, and a condenser motor capable of replacing about 95% of units in the field.
Contractors learned how:
- Just two motors, covering 1/5 to 1 horsepower, can simplify truck stock inventory, saving time and increasing profits.
- Azure’s Bluetooth technology enables precise airflow tuning, helping reduce callbacks and improve system performance.
- Plug-and-play setup speeds up installations and reduces trips to the supply house, keeping jobs efficient and profitable.
All four blower motor models include Bluetooth capability, offering on-the-go adjustment via smartphone or tablet (excluding the condenser motor).
Yellow Jacket Showcase
The event also featured the new Yellow Jacket TITANMAX™ digital manifold, the industry’s only full-color touchscreen manifold. Made in the USA, the TITANMAX™ supports multiple languages (English, Spanish, Chinese, and Dutch) and includes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can be charged on the go. It integrates with the MyQ app, enabling measurement data to be stored in the cloud for access by service managers.
