Tropic Supply Resource Centers across Florida recently hosted Lunch and Learn sessions featuring Nu-Calgon experts sharing best practices for selling, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems using Nu-Calgon products.
The sessions focused on:
- Removing factory residues from new evaporator coils with Evap Foam No Rinse to help systems start clean and run efficiently.
- Using PowerZyme, PurCool Strips, Gel Tabs, and Evap Fresh to support maintenance plans and help extend equipment life.
- Improving first-time fixes with RX11 Flush, Acid Scavenger, A/C Renew, and Easy Seal.
- Increasing conversions with upgrades such as iWave air ionizers, NuStart soft starters, and maintenance plans.

Alexis Terzado brings more than 30 years of HVAC/R distribution experience to Nu-Calgon and represents the company throughout Southeast and South Florida.
Jody Long has served as an Account Manager with Nu-Calgon for 18 years, following 12 years with a major HVAC/R wholesaler. More than 5,000 technicians and contractors throughout the Northeast and Central Florida markets have attended his training programs focused on the latest tools and techniques for maintaining HVAC/R systems.
