2026 Marks the First Florida Training Services Palm Beach County Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing Trades Apprentices Graduations

The Florida Training Services (FTS) proudly celebrated and honored their first Palm Beach County graduating class of Apprentices in the  Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing trades on June 25, 2026. The event took place in the evening at the Historic Carver Technical Education Center in Delray Beach, FL.

FTS Training Director Jimmie Major began the evening by welcoming the graduates, their families, the FTS staff and honored guests.

FTS President Matthew Mann expressed his thanks to the Palm Beach Air Conditioning Contractors Association (PBACCA),  ACprosite, sponsoring employers, honored guests, staff, graduates, and their families for making this milestone such a memorable occasion. “Your support and commitment to workforce education helped make this celebration truly special.”

President Mann recognized Steve Sparks, former Florida Air Conditioning Apprenticeship Association (FACAA) President, as being a key contributor in arranging the merger of FACAA with FTS in 2025. Kelly McCann of CMi Air Conditioning & Electrical, a long-time HVAC instructor at FACAA and PBACCA advocate, also received special recognition for his assistance with the transition, teaching this year and upcoming retirement.

“We couldn’t be prouder of being part of such an incredible community dedicated to developing the next generation of skilled professionals.” President Mann concluded. “Congratulations to the Class of 2026. Here’s to your bright futures and to many more graduating classes in the years to come!”
