CE marked the grand opening of its newly relocated Jacksonville branch with a one‑day celebration on Tuesday, January 13, 2025. The weather was perfect for the outdoor event, which ran from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and drew strong attendance from contractors, manufacturer partners, and local industry professionals.
The new branch, located at 12740 Kenan Drive, Building 50, Suite 150, spans more than 51,000 square feet, including 8,850 square feet of office space and a 1,550‑square‑foot showroom. While the footprint is slightly smaller than the former Western Way location, the upgraded facility has major operational advantages:
- 17 loading bays for faster customer pickup
- Five delivery trucks supporting expanded logistics
- Improved customer service flow
- Easier access and a more convenient location
The site also serves as a regional hub for CE’s North Florida branches, strengthening service capabilities across the broader market.
A ribbon‑cutting ceremony highlighted the day, with CE Branch Manager Preston Nichols and CE Vice President of Wholesale Brian Cook leading the honors.
“We thank everyone for joining us today as we celebrate this great event,” Preston said. “A lot of hard work went into this project, and we appreciate all the time and effort put in by the CE team. I’m certain it was worth it, and we look forward to taking care of our customers and the regional market with an even higher level of service.”
Attendees enjoyed product demonstrations from 26 manufacturers, along with one‑day promotions, door prizes, raffles, giveaways, and lunch catered by Sonny’s BBQ. The grand prize drawing featured two 98‑inch TCL OLED smart televisions.
