CE Florida welcomed 2024 in style, hosting the 2024 VIP Experience at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, FL in January.
CE Florida Region President Chad Wetzel began the day’s events welcoming the dealers. “Today’s gathering is a direct result of your voices being heard. You spoke and we listened. We are committed in 2024 to provide even greater value to you. We offer our heartfelt thank you to our vendor sponsors and encourage our dealers to make the most of the Vendor Showcase. “
The Vendor Showcase featured several dozen vendor partners sharing valuable insights into the products and services they represented during breaks before and after the mid-day business session.
Featured speaker former SEAL Team 6 member Rob O’Neill used his experiences leading up to the mission that resulted in Osama bin Laden’s death to illustrate a powerful message about how to succeed. From preparation, risk assessment and stress management, to leading rather than micromanaging and above all never quitting — Rob demonstrated how applying these military tenets can make us winning warriors in business and in life.
“Focus on people skills and have a sense of humor,” Rob stated. “Learn how to communicate effectively and sometimes the less that’s said, the better things are communicated. And don’t rest on your laurels because success can lead to complacency.”
The unveiling of the new CE VIP Program kicked off the evening’s session, followed by an awards dinner. CE Florida Past President Joe Muley provided a historical perspective while recognizing the awards recipients.
The VIP Experience concluded with a night filled with live music entertainment, raffle drawings, and happy moments.
