The Florida Air Conditioning Apprenticeship Association (FACAA) and Palm Beach Air Conditioning Contractors Association (PBACCA) recognized the program’s 2022 graduates during banquet held at The Beach Club in Lake Worth, FL on August 4, 2022.

Twenty-nine graduates celebrated the end of dedicating two nights a week for four years to complete the Apprenticeship Program. Program instructors, student’s employers, friends and families and other industry members attended the event to congratulate and celebrate with the graduates.
PBACCA President Tony Kiser and FACAA Committee Members hosted the meeting, which began with the PBACCA General Membership Meeting.
Tony then introduced FACAA Program Director Steve Sparks. Steve congratulated the students for their commitment, and also thanked their families for the sacrifices they endured the past four years. He introduced the instructors, then went on to recognize the graduates.
Steve, FACAA Office Manger Rhonda Beeler and Aileah Ensley presented the graduates their certificates, and $50 gift certificates from Tropic Supply.
A highlight of the evening was Amanda Gaita being recognized as recipient of the 2022 Graduate of the Year Award, sponsored by the Florida HVAC Insider. Amanda received a plaque and a check for $250 for her achievement.
The Florida Air Conditioning Apprenticeship Association’s program has been in existence for thirty-five years and, with the help of all the instructors and coordinators and support of PBACCA and area contractors, has become one of the most successful HVAC apprenticeship programs in Florida.
