The Manasota Air Conditioning Contractors Association (MACCA) held its HVAC Apprentice Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. This year, in addition to graduating 11 apprentices, they celebrated the advancement of seven first-year apprentices and five second-year apprentices within the program. It’s great to see MACCA continuing its mission, to better the quality and public image of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry through the proper training of apprentices and to promote excellence, knowledge, and support within the HVAC industry.
Congratulations to all the graduates: James Combee, Aaron Gallegos, Kevin Garcia-Feliciano, Colton Jones, Justin Jones, Matthew Miller, Cody Peterson, Hunter Toler, Quang Truong, Brandon Willard, and Charles Wilson and a special congratulations to Matthew Miller, this year’s “Most Accomplished Apprentice” award recipient. Thank you to this years’ instructors, Gary Johnson and Keith Van Fleet, their dedication to the students and the program has helped advance the apprentices’ education, knowledge base and skills within the HVAC Industry.
Allison Evanitz, Director of Community and Investor Engagement, Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County served as the keynote speaker, providing the graduates with words of encouragement, and wishing them great success in their future endeavors.
