Saez Distributors held the grand opening of Saez Depot, a brand-new, contractor-first facility located at 8290 NW 25th Street in Doral, Florida on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. The event coincided with the official announcement of Fujitsu’s Unitary Equipment Line being available at all Saez Distributors locations.
“Over a decade ago, God gave me a vision to simplify the shopping experience in our store,” Jorge Saez, Corporate Manager of Saez Distributors, stated as the ribbon-cutting ceremony began. “I wanted a place where customers could efficiently come in, find what they need,
‘grab – pay – and go’ so they can quickly serve their own customers.”
Jorge concluded by emphasizing the Saez culture of being receptive to suggestions, thanking the attendees and encouraging them to enjoy themselves and announcing the launch of Saez’ new product offering, Fujitsu Unitary equipment.

Designed from the ground up with speed, accessibility, and efficiency in mind, Saez Depot represents a new era in HVAC distribution. The facility has been more than two years in development and was purpose-built to better serve the evolving needs of contractors with streamlined service and greater efficiency. The warehouse area was expanded, the showroom upgraded, and a glass-walled training/meeting room was added for classes and use by contractors needing space for meetings.
The Grand Opening celebration ran from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and included exclusive promotions and festivities for attendees. Contractors were lining up an hour prior to the building opening, eager to avail themselves of fantastic promotions, participate in raffles for great prizes, enjoy breakfast and explore the Fujitsu equipment on display in the showroom.
A trade show conducted by dozens of vendors informed the engaged group of contractors about the latest products and services on the market and best practices on their uses.
The official launch of the Fujitsu Unitary Equipment Line took place after lunch. Contractors and Saez staff joined Kim DeForrest, Sales Manager – Unitary Products, Darin Barnes, Director, Residential Products – South and other Fujitsu representatives in the showroom for the announcement.

Kim provided an overview of the Fujitsu Unitary products being brought in by Saez Distributors, ranging from residential systems that meet high efficiency and budget concerns to commercial package units up to 25 tons. She went into detail on the residential systems, describing refrigerant line connections and ease of access for installation and service and advising the group that Fujitsu has qualified a number of compressor manufacturers for use in their units so they won’t be affected by shortages of any particular brand.
The R-454B refrigerant shortage came up during the Q and A session and Kim stated she has been informed that there is plenty of refrigerant and jugs available, it’s “a backlog of getting the jugs filled and out into the market.”
“Saez Depot is more than just a new branch — it’s a bold step forward in how we support HVAC professionals,” said Saez Corporate Consultant Daniel Molinares. “We’ve reimagined the experience from top to bottom to help contractors save time and operate more efficiently. Everything from the layout to the technology is built to keep pros moving.”
The opening of Saez Depot and the addition of Fujitsu’s Unitary products reinforce Saez Distributors’ ongoing commitment to delivering value, innovation, and hands-on support to the Florida HVAC community.
