SFACCA Hosts 2024 Golf Tournament

SFACCA Executive Director Stacey Miller welcomes the golfers to the awards luncheon

The South Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Association (SFACCA) held their annual golf tournament at the Deer Creek Golf Club in Deerfield Beach, FL on May 23, 2024.

One hundred and fourteen golfers participated in the tournament, not letting the heat impact their enjoying the friendly competition. The players enjoyed networking and sharing tall tales during the awards luncheon sponsored by Goodman and State Energy following the outing.

The WPTV team of John Turver, Geoff Solomon, Leo Reynolds and Derek Hurwitch took 1st place in the tournament with a score of 55.

Mark Robbins, Jerry Robbins, Mike Scheinman and Eric Slater of Mark One Electric placed 2nd with a score of 58.

3rd place was claimed by James Miller, Trey Galuppi, Rudy Martin and Eddie Rogack of Lawn Forever, scoring 59.

Fletcher North of RGF Environmental won the Closest to the Pin competition and Derek Hurwitch of WPTV took the Longest Drive honors.

“Thank you to all the participants, volunteers, title sponsor RGF, lunch sponsors State Energy and Goodman, beverage sponsor Refricenter, shirt sponsor Saez Distributors and the goody bag, raffle and hole sponsors,” SFACCA Executive Director Stacey Miller stated at the conclusion of the day’s activities. “This event would not have been possible without your support, and we look forward to doing it again next year.”
